How to Make Refreshing Mango Lassi in Minutes

Summer is here, and so is mango season. If you're looking for something sweet, creamy, and refreshing to beat the heat, mango lassi is a must-try. With a ripe mango, some yogurt, and a pinch of cardamom in your kitchen, you're already halfway there.

Whether it's a quick breakfast finisher, a post-lunch treat, or a guest-worthy summer cooler, this lassi is sure to hit the spot.

Ingredients

  • Mango: 1 cup (freshly peeled pieces)
  • Yoghurt: 1 cup
  • Honey or sugar: 2 tablespoons (optional, depending on mango's sweetness)
  • Cardamom powder: ¼ tablespoon
  • Ice cubes: 3-4 (optional, for a chilled version)

Instructions

Step 1: In a blender, add the peeled mango pieces, yogurt, honey/sugar, cardamom powder, and ice cubes.

Step 2: Blend everything until smooth and creamy. If the mixture feels too thick, add some buttermilk gradually until you reach the desired consistency. Also, adjust the sweetness if needed.

Step 3: Pour into tall glasses and serve immediately. You can also refrigerate it for 15–20 minutes for an extra chill.

Tips for Extra Indulgence

  • Soak some saffron strands in water and blend them in for a rich flavor.
  • Sprinkle some crushed cashews, pistachios, or almonds on top for crunch.
  • Add a few small mango chunks on top for extra juiciness.
  • Toss in a scoop of vanilla ice cream for that extra yum.

If you try this, be sure to come back and leave a comment. I’d love to hear how it turned out for you!
